Dubai doing everything out of this world , world’s largest indoor ice rink , world’s largest mall , tallest buildings , highest density of cranes per Capita and now to chill out the Europeans and Americans not used to 50 degree celsius heat a chilled beach , , Versace is to create the world’s first refrigerated beach so that it’s Palazzo Versace hotel guests can walk comfortably across the sand on scorching days. Now that’s what I call customer service no heat on feet only cool sand .
The beach will have a network of pipes beneath the sand containing a coolant that will absorb heat from the surface.
btw about 60% of Dubai’s huge power bill is for air-conditioning; each person living there has a carbon footprint of more than 44 tons of CO2 a year
so how much carbon footprint this project will have and the impact it will have on environment , let’s see
