Mobile Phones are now playing an important role in all types of emergencies from a simple 911 call to leaving a message on Twitter about your arrest by Egyptian Authorities to the Telenor TeleDcotor mobile phones are there to assist and help in all types of emergencies .
Now in latest news a British volunteer with Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) and Vascular surgeon, Davod Nott, visiting Africa found a boy in Congo with his left arm ripped off by a Hippo and suffering from Gangrene , the only way to save the kid was to amputate his arm . With no prior medical experience Nott called his friend in London , Surgeon Meirition Thomas and received step by step instructions by SMS which he used to carry out the amputation and save the kids live .
so easy mode of communications again came to the rescue
